Red Rock Canyon near Ridgecrest, CA. The formations are mostly loose sandy rock, and the wind erosion here changes the canyon a little bit every day.

Finally, I see a nature pic and actually guess where you took it..and I get it right lol.
Very nice shot, I've been to Red Rock Canyon quite a few times over the years. I do live
about 20 miles from there, a crappy city in Nowhere Ville. XD
